This private development of just 37 contemporary town houses is well suited to little ones since it is safely enclosed and gated, boasts a dedicated toddler pool, along with the free-form main pool, and a friendly and incredibly competent on-site manager who can arrange babysitting, airport transfers, taxis, pre-arrival shopping and has enough baby and toddler gear to fit-out a small branch of Mothercare! Our Two Bed homes are identical to our three and four bed homes. We have simply set them out as two-bedroom homes over two floors rather than three. There's no more to it than closing two bedroom doors on the lower level. We have priced accordingly to make it easier on smaller families. Our guests can expect everything in these houses that is provided in the other homes; Stair-gates and a host of extras as standard for those traveling with children, secure courtyard, gates between home and pool for safety, top-notch fit-out, brand new homes, and great vantage points over the pools. The lower prices for the two beds are available for one couple staying with children. There is a small supplement for a second couple. We can accommodate further guests if necessary by making available a third bedroom. Please contact for details on that. Our Morning Sun Homes are set behind electric gates with secure car parking. While children are resourceful, it would take a commando child to escape from Fonte Verde. While the very same size as the other homes, have been set out in a more compact configuration. There were two reasons for this; • Guests with smaller families found that two spacious floors were more than adequate and to have the TV and entertainment area in the large open plan living level just worked better. • Also, it facilitates a lower tier pricing arrangement. So for a couple with a small family, there’s a cheaper, but for all intents and purposes identical, home available. Please note: If you find that you have a requirement for a third room, it’s possible. Several of our “two-beds” can be converted to a three bed (or indeed four bed), with a huge third bedroom and separate bathroom. The supplement is €20 per extra guest per day, subject to a three day minimum. Each of the town houses comes with its own safely enclosed balconies (lounge and both master bedrooms) and terraces, all of which have built-in BBQs and space to put out one of the handy paddling pools available on request and which allow parents the luxury of enjoying a quiet drink or book in the sun whilst junior splashes about at their feet. Inside, they boast spacious contemporary interiors with photographic prints of the locality and the wider Algarve on the walls, huge comfortable king-size double beds, travertine bathrooms with powerful showers and full-sized tubs and well-fitted kitchens complete with American-style fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee-maker, juicer, toaster, microwave and full-size oven and hob. Blenders are available on request. Aids to relaxation come in the form of air conditioning throughout, WiFi, cable TV or SKY TV (bring own card), flat screen TVs and DVD players. Beyond the safely-gated private terraces, the communal courtyard houses pretty plants and space for toddlers to roam on ride-ons, a low-walled pool area with heated toddler splash pool and a large free-form main pool, with a gentle slope, which allows toddlers the security of being able to touch the floor when splashing about with grown-ups. The centre of Boliqueime village is a 10-minute walk away and, as well as being charming and picturesque, it boasts a bakery, bank (with ATM), handy pharmacy, coffee shops, mini-market, beauty salon, clinic, sports centre, all weather football pitch and numerous shops and restaurants. Each July it holds a fantastic Portuguese food festival in which guests can dine like royalty for under £10. The local restaurants and bars are cheaper (and arguably better) than those in the resorts and there are great walks in the local hills with amazing views. The sophisticated resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are close by and within 10 minutes drive are waterparks, great beaches, historic Loule, Algarve Shopping (Mall), Vilamoura Marina, Albufeira and numerous highly respected golf courses. Well worth a visit is the Zoomarine park in nearby Albufeira , perfect for all those Finding Nemo fans, little ones can explore a range of underwater habitats, watch dolphin shows, visit the 4D cinema or even swim and interact with the dolphins (pre-booking important for the dolphins- you could do it before you travel to Portugal).
