We had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. There is an unbelievable amount of construction underway in Krasnaya Polyana. This hotel is right on the main road and it is busy all day and extremely noisy. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. They did not speak any English. The breakfast was terrible, and wifi internet access was down all week. We could have booked a modern room at the Park Inn by Radisson for less money. The Gala Alpik should be $60-80 per night, not $200. I stay in hotels outside the usa, away from my home in Colorado, about 75-100 nights per year on business and pleasure. This was a terrible hotel. We tried to cancel our booking after the first night, and move to another hotel. The hotel staff / management would not allow us to cancel the booking. The hotel was filled with transient workers for construction projects in the Krasnaya Polyana / Sochi area. This is such terrible hotel. I could not recommend it to anyone.
