+excellent location on main pedestrian street in the centre of Kazan, lively interesting street with plenty of places to eat and drink. No frills hotel but adequate for a short trip, clean.
They do not accept credit cards despite signs at the reception desk saying that they do. They wanted all the money for my 10 day stay in advance and in rubles. To change money with a credit card in Kazan you need to personally visit a bank.
